Pool Time!

Our neighborhood pool opened a couple of days before Memorial Day, and we were there! It has been so hot around our neck of the woods that we were dying to get in...having to drive by it every day was killing us! So, we braved the crowds and jumped right in, literally. This was Avery's first experience in a very large pool with lots of people. I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but it went very well! We bought her one of those yellow baby ring/seats for the pool, and she hated it--climbed out of it every time we put her in it. She preferred to be free to splash where she wanted. She has NO FEAR whatsoever, which makes for a quite fearful Mommy. She loves to put her face in the water and to "jump" in or off anything.

This is what she preferred instead of the yellow ring. Which, by the way, if any of you need one of those yellow baby ring things, you are more than welcome to it!

In the baby pool. This was tricky because it slopes down (from 6 inches to 18 inches deep). She had a hard time figuring out how to walk on a slope....quite funny.
