Our pool opened the weekend before Memorial Day, and we couldn't have been happier! It is getting so hot down here! We all loaded up and headed to the pool the first day it was open. I was little nervous at first because Avery (who loved the water last year and had no fear) was being very reserved. As you can see in these first few pictures, she was being very timid...tip-toeing in the water, not splashing, not wanting to much other than stand in the water or sit on the side.
Occasionally she would squat in the water and make little
bitty splashes, but nothing like what she did last year. I kept trying to get her to blow bubbles in the water or sit on her bottom or lay on her belly, but she didn't want to do any of that this year.
When I said that we were leaving in 5 minutes, that's when she decided she would actually really play in the pool. My little fish is back to normal!
