Pumpkin Patch #1

"Pumpkin Patch #1" because this wasn't the "real" pumpkin patch, but you'd never be able to tell Avery that! There is a little church that we drive by every day that hosts a pumpkin patch each year to benefit the Shelby Safe House. We buy most of our pumpkins from them each year.

The picture below is of Avery...jumping. She was so excited when we first got out of the car that she was literally jumping around. I love the joy that she has!
Here's sweet baby Ansley. She enjoyed sitting in the grass, trying to pull up and climb on the pumpkins, and being held as we wound our way around all of the pumpkins.

I wanted so badly to get a picture of the girls (my pumpkins!) sitting amongst the pumpkins. Out of 50 shots, this is the only one that they are both looking at the camera!

And then this moment happened, and my heart melted....

We are planning on doing the "real" pumpkin patch (middle of no-where, fun and games, hay ride, etc) next weekend. So, more pictures to come shortly!
