We headed up to Nashville for Thanksgiving this year, and while we were there, we continued a tradition of going to
Opryland to see the Christmas lights. This year Avery was really into it. She carried a pretend camera with her to take pictures of all the festivities. Here she is in front of the giant Christmas tree, just like in years past.
This was the best shot that we got of the girls together. Ansley wasn't so sure about standing up against the rough brick, so she sat down instead.
On Thanksgiving day, we went to my grandparent's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Because their house isn't exactly child-proof, we contained Ansley in her
bumbo seat for part of the evening. She hasn't used it in so long that she seemed to have forgotten how to get out of it! The girls wore matching turkey dresses, but of course I was unable to get a picture of the two of them together.
This was the best shot I could get of Avery in her turkey dress. There were far too many "new" things to play with and see for her to be still and take a picture!
See....they do play together! Dad was sneaky with the camera and got a shot of it before anyone realized :) Any suggestions of what to do to get Avery to take pictures with Ansley? Bribing doesn't seem to work well. I'm starting to think that we're the only ones with this issue...
