This year was so fun because both of the girls were able to actually participate this year.  That being said, we still let Avery pick out what each of the girls was going to be for Halloween.
This year has been crazy, to say the least. So, we ended up skipping the big pumpkin patch that we've been to each prior year because between our schedules we literally couldn't find a day that we were all free and the weather was nice.  We just went to the little pumpkin patch at a church by our house.  The girls did not know the difference, of course.
Ansley was in awe of all the pumpkins!
Avery was giddy with happiness, but she forced every smile when the camera showed up.

This is my favorite picture of the two of them despite it not being the best one.  It shows both of their personalities perfectly....Avery with the forced, cheesy smile and Ansley with her coy little self.

Avery had a Halloween party at dance class.  Much to her delight, one of her little buddies was dressed as Jessie and went perfectly with her Buzz costume!
Avery had a Fall Fun Festival at her school, and she loved it.  She looked forward to it for weeks.  Their class made shirts to wear as they went through all of the different rooms and played games and earned candy and prizes.  It was fun for everyone involved!

And finally, Halloween night.  We went to Nana's new neighborhood to trick or treat because our neighborhood is a little out of hand and, frankly, seems dangerous for small children.  Here are my Buzz and the Pizza Planet Alien from Toy Story.  Aren't they adorable?
At the end of the night, done trick or treating....Ansley enjoying a blue lollipop that matched her outfit (and soon her face!).  It was a great night, and each of them did so well going up to every door, saying "Trick or Treat!", and then saying, "Thank you and have a great night!"
